  • I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with David for over fifteen years, and I can say he is very professional, conscientious and knowledgeable in operations and safety.

David brings with him a wealth of operational experience built over decades in the industrial gases industry. Having led large, diverse operational facilities and teams, he understands the realities of industrial environments from the ground up — the pressures of compliance, productivity, and operational efficiency, and above all, the paramount importance of keeping people safe.

In recent years, David has channelled this deep operational expertise into a specialism in industrial ergonomics. He has played a pivotal role in developing and delivering ergonomic risk reduction programmes across both the UK and Ireland, and has extended his impact globally — contributing to a worldwide community of practice and providing targeted support to other Linde Business Units, including three in the United States. His hands-on approach — visiting facilities in person, assessing ergonomic and manual handling tasks, and delivering clear, practical recommendations — has made a tangible difference to the safety, health and well-being of employees on the ground.

What sets David apart, however, is not just his knowledge and experience, but his genuine commitment to people. He is someone who cares deeply about making workplaces safer and better, and it shows in everything he does. I would not hesitate in recommending David to any organisation looking to improve its ergonomic standards and safety culture.
